The Summit Interfaith Council Anti-Racism Committee (ARC) works to dismantle racism by bringing people together to learn, engage, and transform ourselves and our institutions.
Learn
We come together to learn an unvarnished history of the United States and its deep roots in white supremacy. We share how our history affects every aspect of American life today and every individual's way of thinking about race.
Engage
Each of us has an important role to play in dismantling racism. We focus on actionable approaches and inspire people to continue with the work. Together we commit to engage in racial justice in schools, congregations and communities.
Transform
We work to create a world free from the tyranny of racism, where all peoples are respected and esteemed. Our inner work and communal interaction has fueled local and statewide social justice initiatives, marches, and vigils.
